Lauren Hutter, Founder/Chief Strategist, takes primary responsibility for every project, assembling the right team for the job.

Lauren is passionate about understanding consumers and building brands, and has spent almost 20 years doing just that.  She has been instrumental in helping to develop and assess brand and communications strategies for a wide range of great brands.  Her work has led to a number of award-winning, culturally recognized campaigns.  Her research expertise has been honed as both practitioner and user, having held senior level positions at both research agencies and advertising agencies.  This has given Lauren the rare perspective of being able to apply solid research fundamentals through a planner’s creative lens.      

Lauren’s focus goes beyond simply identifying interesting trends and insights, to the more important task of applying them to practical business challenges.  She also holds an MBA with a concentration in Marketing from Hofstra University. After working at some of NY’s most prestigious agencies, Lauren founded Culture Vulture NYC in 2013.
